The Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries carried out career guidance work within the framework of the SDG

In order to improve the quality of education within the framework of the SDGs, senior teachers of the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the  Farabi University Temenova G.K., Nazarova A.Zh. with the 4th year students conducted career guidance work with students in grades 9-11 of the Republican Specialised Boarding School of the Olympic Reserve in the Shanyrak microdistrict of Almaty.

The teachers introduced the schoolchildren to the history of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Department of Turkic Studies and History of Eastern Countries, provided information about the languages ​​and programs taught at the faculty; about language internships conducted abroad; about partner universities and emphasised the benefits of studying oriental languages. 4th year students shared student life and the peculiarities of language training in Turkey, and piqued the interest of schoolchildren.
