Korean Week has become a nice tradition for many years in the Department of Far East and Korean Studies.
This event that scheduled from 16 to 20 November has begun at 14:20 with a brainstorm competition "What do I know about Korea?" among the first-year students in room 543. The week was officially open after the solemn speech of the Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation and International Relations Kudaibergenova R. and wishes of other teachers of the department.
The students have been divided into three groups to answer questions related to the history, culture and traditions of Korea. At the end of the contest winners were announced and the awards were received respectively as well as commemorative photos has been taken with the participants of the contest, teachers and the other students of the department. Department teachers Tashkenbaeva B and Arinova M were in charge of this event that was duly organized and controlled at an appropriate level. Senior students of the department assisted as well to organize and carry out the event.
The first day of the week "Korean week" was not only successful, but was also very exciting and interesting that expanded the knowledge of the first-year students.
