Eternally live, my eagle land, Kazakhstan!

On October 25 to the Republic Day for the students of the 3rd year group "Nanochemistry and nanomaterials" was organized an educational hour on the theme "Eternally live, my eagle land, Kazakhstan!". The purpose of the educational hour: to teach students to honor their native land, native country, people; to explain that the path to happiness begins with love for the native land; to instill patriotic feelings for the Motherland.

On October 25, 1990 by the decision of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR the declaration "On State Sovereignty of the KazSSR" was adopted. From that moment sovereign Kazakhstan began to be recognized as a separate state with its own vision. The adopted declaration became the foundation of the future independence of Kazakhstan. This act laid the foundation of a new state on the world map - the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now this day is celebrated on a national scale and is celebrated as a holiday. According to the law № 267 "On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan", adopted on December 13, 2001, this day was included in the number of public holidays.

In mid-September, the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan amended the law "On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan". According to the document, Republic Day became a national holiday on October 25, and Independence Day became a public holiday on December 16.
