Conclusions of archaeological exploration
As part of Goal 4 "Quality Education" of the Sustainable Development Goals, during reconnaissance work by G.K. Omarov in the Kurshum district, 16 km north of the village of Amanat, in the Kiyin Kerish area, information obtained from local residents about a decaying burial was verified. When inspecting the presumed site in the central part of the tract, the collapsed edge of the burial was found in the western wall of the ravine. Several human bones were collected. A burial covering made of thin round sticks can be traced in the wall of the ravine. Probably, the burial was arranged in the wall of the ravine. Several bones that fell out of the burial were taken for radiocarbon dating, the rest were stacked in a niche that was covered with earth. Radiocarbon dating of the bone sample carried out in the laboratory of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technologies in Vilnius (Lithuania) allows us to attribute the burial to the V – first half of the VI century AD.
