International Scientific and Practical Conference "History of Kazakh prose development and new trends in literary studies"

On 29 October 2024, within the framework of SDG 4: Quality Education  on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national writer and translator of Kazakhstan Abdizhamil Karimuly Nurpeisov, the international scientific-practical conference "History of Kazakh prose development and new trends in literary studies" was held at Al -Farabi Kazakh National University.
The moderator of the conference, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Omirhan Abdimanuly wished the participants good luck and made a welcoming speech. Professor Smagul Elubai, Professor of T. Zhurgenov Academy of Arts, People's Writer of Kazakhstan, Dr. Aslan Zhaksylykov, PhD, Professor Saule Erzhanova, PhD, Associate Professor Salima Kalkabayeva, Candidate of Physical Sciences, Acting Professor Bolatkhan Sarbasov, Ph, Associate Professor of East Kazakhstan University Aymgul Seyputanova, Associate Professor of Gulstan State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, PhD Bagdat Orazov, Professor of Firat University from Turkey, Dr. Erzhan Alkaya took part in the conference.  They made reports devoted to  the deep philosophy of the novels of the genius man, national writer Abdizhamil Nurpeisov  who are known to the reading public. In their reports the speakers  also touched upon the history of writing and the problem of translation into other languages, the relationship between the reader and the author and  the problems of teaching language and literature and theoretical aspects of literature.
The  scientists from universities and research institutes, doctoral students, master's degree  students and media representatives were also present at the conference.  This conference provided an  ample opportunity to discuss topical issues on the history of Kazakh prose development and new directions of literary studies today.
