Friendship and mercy are the main idea of humanity

On November 10, 2024, within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education", the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology, together with the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized an evening in memory of the graduate of the Faculty of Philology, citizen, patriot, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Alkhozhaev Kydyrbek Korganbekuly and a charity event. The event took place at the Center of Support for  the children in Difficult Situations “Meirim”.

Within the framework of the meeting, K.K. Alkhozhaev's friends, fellow students, and colleagues spoke: Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Associate Professor B.S. Imangaliev, Head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor A.B. Temirbolat, Candidate of Philological Sciences S.D. Daribayev, Candidate of Philological Sciences L.A. Mekebayeva, Senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature literature and Theory of Literature Sh.A. Shortanbai, the famous poet S. Kaliev. In their speeches, they talked about the life and work of the untimely departed Kydyrbek Korganbekuly, about the importance of friendship, moral memory, and spiritual values in human life and society. During the meeting, students of the 3rd year of the specialty "6B02306 – Literary Studies": P. Balginbayeva, B. Aslanbek, R. Aytaskyzy, T. Azat, F. Rashid, A. Kasymkhan, A. Tazhibek organized a concert for the children of the Center. They performed kuis of famous Kazakh composers, Kazakh folk songs and dances. The organizers of the event set a festive table for the children and presented them with clothes.
