Оrientation session was held for the second-year PhD students
On November 11, 2024, there was an orientation session was held for the second-year doctoral students of «8D02303 – Linguistics» «8D02208 – Turkology» «8D01705 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages» and «8D01704 – Russian Language and Literature» majors as a part of their research practice. During the session the timeline and guidelines for conducting research work were outlined. Dr. Sc., Professor, and Director of the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies N.Zh. Shaimerdenova, PhD, Acting Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific Innovation and International Relations A.M. Dosanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry at Tuva State University, Olga Kendivan, and research supervisor, Professor, Dr. Sc. G.B. Madiyeva took part in the session.
As a part of the event, the project «Living Stone»was presented. It was an exhibition of stone carvers from Tuva. During the orientation session, the PhD students were explained the content of their research work, were given the guidelines for using the library resources, and were told about the process of preparing documents.
