November 6, 2024: New Study Corners Opened for Students in Dormitory No. 6

New study corners filled with a variety of interesting literature have been set up in Dormitory No. 6 for students of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty. Starting from November 6, 2024, students now have the opportunity to spend their free time productively, borrowing books and immersing themselves in reading.

This initiative not only improves study conditions but also supports several key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the university. It aligns with SDG 1: No Poverty, providing students from socially vulnerable groups with access to necessary educational materials at no cost. This helps reduce educational barriers and ensures that all students have equal opportunities to gain knowledge.

Furthermore, the project contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education, giving students access to academic and scientific literature, which helps deepen their understanding and develop critical thinking skills. Education at the university becomes more accessible and of higher quality, enabling students to successfully grow and prepare for professional life.

Finally, the project serves as an example of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as its implementation was made possible through effective cooperation between the faculty’s dean’s office, the senior advisor, and the students of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty. The Dean, Vice Deans, and Senior Advisor actively participated in filling the bookshelves, providing necessary books and materials that will be useful to students for both academic and personal development. This partnership within the university community helps create a sustainable educational environment and fosters a culture of mutual support and collective responsibility.

Thus, the new study corners not only provide students with a more convenient place for studying but also demonstrate how collaboration and support within the university can contribute to achieving global sustainable development goals, enhancing education quality and student well-being.

We wish all students engaging and enriching readings that will inspire them to make new discoveries and achieve their goals!
