SDG-4: A seminar-training was held on the topic: “10 conditions for successful public speaking”

The Psychological Support Service and the Scientific and Practical Center "Inclusive Environment" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University SDG-4: within the framework of "quality education" on November 20, jointly held a seminar-training for students of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management on the topic "10 conditions for successful public speaking". Students who came to this seminar-training learned about the importance of developing oratorical skills and the intricacies of their professional use in public speaking, and also received a lot of useful information. During the seminar, numerous examples were presented and the students applied the knowledge they gained in practice.

The following conditions for public speaking were announced at the seminar:

- defining a clear goal

- knowing the audience

- preparing the material

- rehearsal

- emotional contact

- clarity and brevity

- confidence

- body language control

- working with the voice

- adaptation in real time

Also during the seminar, group games were organized to reveal the individual oratorical qualities of students.
