SDG-4: training seminar on the topic: « Rules of Successful Public Speaking»

The Scientific and Practical Center "Inclusive Environment" and the Psychological Support Service of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, CEUR-4, organized a seminar-training on "Rules for Successful Public Speaking" for students of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management on November 20, as part of the "Quality Education" program. The event was held to enhance students' confidence in public speaking and to develop their effective communication skills.

During the training, participants were introduced to various methods and techniques for successful public speaking, including speech preparation and structure. Key aspects such as speech techniques, proper use of intonation, voice and pause control, and establishing a connection with the audience were discussed. The main principles of confidence, such as self-analysis, overcoming the fear of public speaking, and building confidence in one's own abilities, were also covered.

The training included practical exercises where participants shared their opinions, used different methods to present information, and received feedback. Participants realized the importance of being flexible in their approach, preparing for unpredictable situations, and adapting their speech accordingly.

This training not only helped students boost their confidence and improve their public speaking skills but also provided a valuable opportunity for personal and professional growth. Each participant learned important tools for effectively interacting with the audience and presenting their ideas confidently.
