Another Event of the "Gülistan" Club within the Framework of the SDG "Decent Work and Economic Growth"

On November 19, the head of the "Gülistan" club, G. Kudaibergenova, organized a meeting with our faculty's graduate, Iranian studies specialist and interpreter, Zhanibek Kopzhasar. Students and professors of the Iranian studies department attended the meeting. During the event, Z. Kopzhasar shared insights into a translator's professional experience, the specifics of simultaneous interpretation, its challenges, and advantages, as well as his personal expertise. The students received valuable information about modern methods and technologies in the field of simultaneous interpretation. They asked the interpreter intriguing questions and shared their thoughts. The meeting inspired professional development and provided invaluable experience for future translators.

Zhanibek Kopzhasar is a 2007 graduate of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. He currently works as an interpreter for high-level meetings, forums, and summits, translating from Persian into Kazakh/Russian.
