SDG 17 and SDG 8. Meeting with representatives of JSC "Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry named after D.V. Sokolsky"

On November 20, in the 330 room of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, a meeting of employers with JSC "Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry named after D.V. Sokolsky" with 4th-year undergraduate students, graduate students and teachers was held. The Dean of the Faculty introduced the employers to the educational programs taught at the faculty and to the list of competencies that undergraduate and graduate students have completed their studies. The First Deputy General Director spoke about the areas in which the Institute operates, introduced the list of required qualifications and outlined further prospects for the development of the industry in close connection with the production capacities of the Kazakhstan Republic.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the Head of State to strengthen the connection between science and production, the Physics and Technology Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the D.V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry agreed to strengthen scientific cooperation, attract graduates of various levels of education to carry out research work, closer cooperation in the training of PhD students and participation as temporary members of dissertation councils represented at the faculty. In addition, representatives of the institute interviewed interested students. The meeting was held within the framework of SDG 17 and SDG 8 - partnership for sustainable development.
