Translation problems of world bestsellers into Kazakh
Within the framework of SDG 4: Quality Education, a meeting with the famous translator of fiction into Kazakh Dinara Mazen was held at the Faculty of Philology. During the meeting, the 4th-year students of the Literary Studies major received answers to their questions about the process of translating the Harry Potter series, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Atomic Steppe by Togzhan Kasenova about the Semipalatinsk test site tragedy, and The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. The students exchanged views with an experienced specialist about the translator's creative laboratory and the work that needs to be done in the field of Kazakh fiction translation in the coming years. At the end of the meeting, the translator gave valuable advice to young translators.
