A qualitative path has opened up for young scientists!
Knowledge and science are the foundation of any field. Because if there is an education system that trains personnel in all professions, then this is a science that carefully studies high-quality productivity and the overall development of all spheres. In this regard, SDG – 4, within the framework of "Quality Education" (4.3.2 – Mass events), the leadership of the D.V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry, together with the heads of laboratories, organized a meeting with 4th-year bachelors and undergraduates of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and Mechanics and Mathematics.
The D.V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry was founded in 1969 by Academician of the National Research Center of the Kazakh SSR D.V. Sokolsky and is the main scientific institution in the field of fuel, catalysis and electrochemistry in Kazakhstan, whose scientific achievements are known internationally. The scientific activity of the Institute is very well focused on the integration of scientific, educational and production processes in the field of fuel, petrochemistry, catalysis and electrochemistry.
Deputy Director General Arlan Zainutallauli stressed the importance of integrating science and education, noting that such an exchange of experience and knowledge between the institute and universities will give students a unique opportunity to develop in their professional field. This will open access to modern technologies and research methods, which is extremely relevant in the context of rapid changes in the field of science, answered students' questions about the terms of cooperation, potential projects and opportunities to participate in international competitions and conferences. He stressed that the institute is ready to provide support and mentoring to young scientists, helping them to implement their ideas and research.
Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, Professor E. A. Aubakirov expressed confidence in the successful cooperation between the D. V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry and his department. He stressed that scientific relations and interaction with the professors of the Institute contribute to the development of conditions for science and education. The professor noted that the presence of experienced teachers from the institute in the department enhances the educational process and ensures a high level of scientific research in the field of catalysis and petrochemistry. This collaboration creates unique opportunities for students and undergraduates, giving them a chance to immerse themselves in current scientific issues and gain valuable knowledge.
In turn, students and undergraduates actively participated in the discussion. They asked a lot of topical questions to the management of the institute and the heads of laboratories, showing interest in future opportunities and areas of work.
Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry Zhaksylykova G. Zh.
