On December 19-20, 2024, the Second International Workshop "Recent Advances in Plasma Physics and Technologies" (RAPPT2) was held. The event was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 85th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, F.B. Bayimbetov, the founder of plasma physics research and the scientific school of plasma physics in Kazakhstan.
