The Department of the Middle East and South Asia, within the framework of the Partnership for Sustainable Development and Quality Education points of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project, organizes an online course “Modern methods of teaching Arabic” as part of the Winter School

Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies from 06.01.2025 to 16.01.2025 in order to implement the strategic development of the university and the development of external academic mobility within the framework of partnership for sustainable development and quality education points of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project, organizes an online course “Modern methods of teaching Arabic” as part of the Winter School for students of the Faculty of Islamic Education (Gaziantep Islam Bilim Ve Teknoloji Üiversitesi, Islami Ilimler Fakültesi) and Az-Zehra University, Faculty of Arabic (Ez-Zehraa-Universitesi, Arab Dili Fakültesi), The University of Islamic Education (Gaziantep Islam Bilim Ve Teknoloji Üiversitesi) of the Republic of Turkey. The purpose of the course is to develop students’ communication skills in Arabic, explain the phonetic features of the Arabic language, sound patterns of vowels and consonants, articulatory features, and teach them how to use modern educational technologies (online exercises in Arabic grammar, online dictionaries) for cognitive purposes.

        Students of the mentioned universities actively participate in classes conducted by teachers of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, and deepen their knowledge of the Arabic language.
