Visit of Wise Energy Industry Co. Representatives to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

A visit by representatives of Wise Energy Industry Co. took place at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, during which the prospects for scientific and practical cooperation in the field of water resources management and environmental safety were discussed. Wise Energy Industry Co. offers services in design, development, consulting, construction, and maintenance in the energy sector. The company provides solutions in areas such as energy system automation, water management and hydroenergy, production of electrical equipment, and industrial analytics. Additionally, the company develops innovative approaches in energy conservation, industrial control, and other related fields.

During the visit, guests were presented with information about the faculty’s modern laboratories, equipped with advanced equipment, as well as the scientific directions and projects of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, including research focused on water quality assessment, hazardous hydrological phenomena management, and the use of GIS technologies. Faculty members and researchers demonstrated achievements that highlight the university’s high scientific potential in addressing current environmental challenges.

Possible areas of collaboration were discussed at the meeting. Among the proposed initiatives were the establishment of a branch of Wise Energy Industry Co. at the university, which would strengthen its positioning and integrate innovative developments into educational and scientific processes; the introduction of wastewater treatment systems on a parity basis within the university, which would not only enhance the environmental safety of the campus but also create a model for sustainable water use applicable in other regions; conducting training seminars, workshops, and internships for university faculty and students focused on mastering innovative technologies in water resources management.

Both sides expressed their readiness for further cooperation and agreed on the need to develop a detailed plan for the implementation of joint initiatives. This visit marked a significant step in the development of partnership relations between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Wise Energy Industry Co., combining scientific and practical potential to create innovative solutions in the field of sustainable water resources use and environmental safety improvement.
