SDG #4: An open lecture on the topic «The Activities and Significance of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan» took place.

        The Faculty of Geography and Natural Resource Management of our university, the Department of «Recreational Geography and Tourism», held an open lecture on October 21, 2024, on the topic «The Activities and Significance of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan».

        The lecture covered the history of the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, its main tasks and directions. The lecturer emphasized Kazakhstan's successful experience in regulating interethnic relations, noting that it is highly valued on the international stage.

        It was highlighted that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan's activities make a significant contribution to preserving the culture and traditions of various ethnic groups in Kazakhstan, strengthening civic identity, and creating a society based on stability and peace in the country. Additionally, students were informed about the opportunity to participate in events and projects organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. 

       The open lecture was held in an interactive format, and students shared their thoughts. Most of them emphasized that the work of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is the foundation of stability and social consensus in the country. The event was organized to inform young people about the role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and its historical significance, deepen their understanding, and draw attention to its strategic importance in the development of the country.
