SDG №4: «Welcome to the Homeland!»

On October 24, 2024, the Faculty of Pre-University Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a special event titled "Welcome to the Homeland!" in honor of Republic Day. The event was dedicated to ethnic Kazakh students (kandas) who came from abroad to pursue education in Kazakhstan.

The main objective of the event was to foster patriotism among the youth, promote love for the homeland, instill respect for national values, and highlight the achievements of independent Kazakhstan along with the significance of Republic Day.

During the event, students and faculty members showcased their talents by reciting poetry, performing patriotic songs, and presenting traditional dances. Educational content on the history of Kazakhstan was shared, and a thematic video dedicated to Republic Day was shown.

At the conclusion of the event, the faculty leadership extended heartfelt wishes to the participating students, encouraging them to adapt quickly, excel in their studies, and become skilled professionals.

This meaningful celebration served as a powerful example of cultural enrichment, patriotic education, and the strengthening of national unity.
