The "English Language" course for the elderly has started

A course on "English Language" for elderly people has been launched at the Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the "Silver University" model.

The course is organized as part of a memorandum of cooperation between the Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education and the "Active Longevity" Center in Almaty.

The courses are attended by elderly individuals who are focused on maintaining an active and engaging lifestyle.

The goal of the event is to develop the intellectual potential of elderly citizens, enhance their social activity, and open new opportunities through the study of the English language.

The main objectives of the course are: to teach elderly citizens the basics of the English language and develop their language skills; to prevent social isolation by improving communication abilities; to promote an active lifestyle and improve the quality of life through new knowledge; and to expand access to international information resources through language training

The courses are taught by experienced instructors, and the curriculum is designed with consideration of the age-specific characteristics and needs of the participants. Classes are held in an interactive format, focusing on practical exercises and the creation of a language-rich environment.

This initiative will give a new impulse to the lives of elderly citizens, helping them with self-realization and strengthening their connections with society.
