Students of the Department of Far East Studies' Korean Division Intern at South Korean Company "Open Healthcare"

Students of the Korean Division of the Department of Far East Studies, Shalkar Alua Kanatkyzy, Marlen Ayana, and Galymzhankyzy Uldana, are undergoing an internship at the South Korean company "Open Healthcare". The internship runs from January 20 to March 17, providing students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of international medical business.
"Open Healthcare" is an international healthcare company represented in Kazakhstan by "Open Healthcare Kazakhstan" (OH KZ Clinic), established in 2018 by Kazakhstani and foreign investors in collaboration with South Korean partners. The company's headquarters are located in Singapore.
Located in Almaty at Dostyk Avenue, 210 B (corner of Al-Farabi Avenue), OH KZ Clinic has become a key platform for medical cooperation between Kazakhstan and South Korea. The clinic offers high-quality medical services based on South Korean standards, which are in high demand given the increasing interest of the Kazakhstani population in Korean culture, products, and medical services. Notably, South Korea ranks as the second most popular destination for Kazakhstani patients seeking medical treatment abroad.
The internship of the Department of Far East Studies' students at the international company "Open Healthcare" is a valuable experience for future specialists aiming to foster collaboration between Kazakhstan and South Korea in the fields of medicine, management, and intercultural communication.
