On February 12-13, 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted intellectual tournaments in chess and togyz kumalak for the "Dean’s Cup." These competitions became a significant event for students, showcasing their strategic thinking, concentration, and analytical skills.
Chess Tournament
On February 12, students competed in the classic intellectual game of chess. The tournament gathered strong players who demonstrated a high level of preparation and tactical mastery. Participants showcased their ability to calculate moves ahead and quickly adapt to changing game situations.

Togyz Kumalak Tournament
On February 13, a tournament in the national intellectual game of togyz kumalak took place. This ancient Kazakh game requires not only mathematical thinking but also the ability to develop long-term strategies. The students demonstrated high engagement and competitive spirit, making the tournament a bright and memorable event.
