A five-volume book about Academician Tolegen Tazhibaev has been published.

An international scientific-practical conference titled "The Development of Education and Psychological Science: Past, Present, Future" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Academician Tolegen Tazhibaev.

Representatives of the leadership and faculty of KazNU, as well as scholars from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Russia, and other countries, took part in the significant event.

The participants were addressed by Sabit Suatay, the Vice-Rector for Social Development at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. "Today's conference is dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the statesman and public figure Tolegen Tazhibaev. During World War II and later, he held high state positions and served as the rector of KazGU named after S.Kirov. He made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh education, the establishment of domestic psychology, and pedagogical sciences", - the vice-rector emphasized. "Tolegen Tazhibaev is a vivid example of a true leader, humanist, patriot, and professional in his field. He was at the forefront of the establishment of historical-pedagogical and psychological sciences in Kazakhstan and laid the foundation for a scientific school in psychology and pedagogy", - the vice-rector noted.

At the plenary session, Zhanibek Abdrashov, Ambassador for Special Assignments and Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan's representation in Almaty, also gave a speech. "Tolegen Tazhibaev was not only the rector of KazGU but also the first People's Commissar of Foreign Affairs of the Kazakh SSR during the time when the foreign ministry was just being established. His contribution to the preparation of diplomatic personnel is hard to overestimate. He did a lot to implement the tasks that were set before the new ministry at that time", - Zhanibek Abdrashov noted.

As part of the plenary session, a presentation of books took place: the five-volume edition about Academician T. Tazhibaev and his revised textbook "General Psychology" (compiled and prepared for publication by Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Almasbek Maulenov).

The following individuals presented reports: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zholmukhan Turkpenuly; Head of the Political Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s representation, Almasha Arenova; Doctor of Philological Sciences, professor Almasbek Maulenov; Senior Lecturer at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, producer, and kobyz player Lailya Tazhibaeva, and others.

The conference continued with sectional meetings, during which scholars discussed current issues such as the history of education and psychological science, the scientific ideas and managerial activities of Academician T.Tazhibaev, psychological health and well-being of individuals, and others.
