The law and the student: the formation of legal consciousness

On February 26, 2025, the Department of Business Technology of the Higher School of Economics and Business organized an event for students of 1-3 courses on the topic "Prevention of crimes and offenses among students, education of students' legal awareness at the university."  

The speaker of the event was Taikpanov A.M., a member of the Almaty Regional Bar Association. During the meeting, issues of crime prevention among students, legal awareness and legal education of young people were discussed.

The participants were able to ask interesting questions and receive clarifications on relevant legal aspects. The meeting contributed to the improvement of students' legal literacy and awareness of the importance of compliance with the law.

The event is directly related to the objectives of SDG 16 "Peace, justice and effective institutions". 

The organizers are the teaching staff of the Department of Business Technology.
