As part of the “40 Events" initiative dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Pre-University Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a moral and spiritual educational hour was held under the theme "A Thousand Thanks to You, KazNU!" on March 1 – Gratitude Day. The event was organized for students of five groups from the Pre-University Training Department.

During the session, students learned about the history of Gratitude Day and its significance. It was emphasized that this day symbolizes the unity and friendship of the Kazakh people, as well as their hospitality and generosity.

The saying "If you are generous, you will never be in need" has always been a guiding principle for Kazakhs. Thanks to this nature, they have always shown kindness not only to themselves but also to others. Humility, forgiveness, and the ability to express gratitude are deeply rooted in Kazakh traditions. That is why, on the first day of spring, this special occasion reminds us to strengthen our bonds with those around us.

At the end of the event, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to one another, engaging in warm and heartfelt conversations.
