Ensuring Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Promoting Lifelong Learning Opportunities

Molecular Biology and Genetics, during a laboratory session for the course "Molecular-Genetic Analysis," under the supervision of Senior Lecturer A.D. Serbayeva and A.K. Imanbay, a first-year doctoral student in the 8D05104 – Genetics program, third-year students of the 6B05105 – Genetics program successfully extracted DNA from saliva using the commercial PureLink Genomic Kit and explored the possibility of further applying the obtained material in molecular research. This laboratory session plays a crucial role in developing the essential skills of future geneticists and molecular biologists. It not only contributes to improving the quality of higher education but also fosters an interest in scientific research. Genetic research is of critical importance in medicine for the prevention and diagnosis of diseases. DNA analysis facilitates the development of personalized medicine, the precise selection of pharmaceuticals, and overall improvements in human health. Thus, scientific research not only expands knowledge but also brings tangible benefits to society.
