YOUTH EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION CULTURE — IMPORTANT TOPICS FOR SOCIETY

The National Kurultai, currently taking place in Burabay, once again demonstrated that it addresses issues that truly concern modern society. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev touched on two very important topics — the culture of communication in society and the education of the younger generation.

Today, social media has become not only a place for communication but also a space where insults, defamation, and false information are easily spread. This is a very serious issue. One careless word can ruin a person’s reputation, and sometimes even their life. Of course, laws are needed to protect people from such attacks, but something else is also important — teaching people to respect each other, regardless of their views and opinions.

Another important issue is the education of the youth. In schools and universities, the main focus is on learning, but educational work often takes a back seat. The President proposed combining measures for raising children and preventing domestic violence into a unified program called "Children of Kazakhstan." This is the right step, as education is not only about knowledge but also about how to behave in society, respect traditions, and appreciate culture.

As a teacher and journalist, I see that young people have a great interest in development, but sometimes lack proper guidance. We need to talk more about the culture of communication, mutual respect, and how to build healthy relationships in the family and society. These topics should be discussed not only in schools but also in the media and social networks. Only in this way can we raise a generation that is not only educated but also responsible for their words and actions.

NATIONAL KURULTAI – AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN THE MODERNIZATION OF PUBLIC-POLITICAL LIFE

The IV session of the National Kurultai began its work on March 13 in Burabay. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the IV session of the National Kurultai, which took place on March 14 in Burabay, discussing important topics.

Every year, this unique dialogue platform addresses the most pressing issues that define the future trends of the country’s socio-economic development. The National Kurultai, established at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, confirms the course towards building a consultative model of democracy in Kazakhstan, based on high-quality political communication between the government and all interested public groups. This model implies active interaction and exchange of opinions between different layers of society, which helps in developing the most convenient and rationally justified decisions.

The event involves over 100 members of the National Kurultai. There are four sections: "Civil Society", "Culture", "Education and Science", and "Socio-economic and Regional Development".

At the sections of the fourth session of the National Kurultai, such as "Socio-economic Development" and "Education and Science" issues were discussed, including the economy, VAT, business lending, consumer protection, reduction of the state apparatus, the development of domestic science, and fostering a love of reading. Mechanisms and concrete steps were proposed for making effective decisions.

In this regard, initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of Kazakhstanis have become some of the most discussed topics.

The results of the current session of the National Kurultai will determine the key priorities for Kazakhstan's development in the coming years.
