Exchange of experience within the framework of academic mobility

The Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is carrying out systematic work within the framework of the academic mobility program for its teaching staff. By this program, from April 14 to 21, 2025, Professor of the Department of Kazakh Philology at the Yessenov University, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nagbdu Sultansikhkyzy Kamarova, arrived on a special academic visit.
The experienced educator Nagbdu Sultansikhkyzy delivered in-depth lectures and practical seminars on "Kazakh Literature of the 20th Century" and "Writer’s Craft" courses for the 2nd and the 3rd year students majoring in 6B02306 – Literary Studies. The students explored the pressing issues of modern literary criticism, examined the artistic features of writers’ works, and shared their own scientific insights and perspectives.
In addition, within the framework of KazNU’s “Roadmap – 2025 Strategic Development” program, Professor Kamarova conducted a special seminar-training session on the topic: “Academic Principles in Writing Scientific Articles” for the faculty members and young scholars of the Faculty of Philology.
This meeting served as a valuable platform for gaining practical experience, fostering academic culture, and deepening the understanding of academic integrity principles.
Undoubtedly, such meaningful initiatives within the academic mobility framework play a vital role in enhancing the interaction between national education and science and serve as one of the key steps in improving the quality of the educational process.
