The Hamza Academic Test is a standardized exam designed to assess Arabic language proficiency in non-native speakers for academic purposes. Developed by the King Salman Global Center for the Arabic Language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the test covers levels from A2 to C1.
The objectives of the test are to enhance the scientific and cultural status of the Arabic language internationally, to create a universal tool for measuring language qualifications, and to provide reliable data for universities and educational institutions.
The test structure includes four components: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The total duration is 155 minutes and includes 75 tasks. The test is available in two formats — in-person (at accredited centers) and remote (online).
The target groups include students studying Arabic, instructors, and organizations interested in evaluating the language proficiency of specialists.
