Ecology Students Created Videos for Abai’s 180th Anniversary

Students of the Ecology educational program at the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development have produced a series of videos dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet, thinker, and educator Abai Kunanbayuly.

In their works, the students revealed Abai’s key ideas about labor, knowledge, morality, and spiritual growth. The videos include recitations of excerpts from his works, creative interpretations, and modern visual solutions that offer a contemporary perspective on the poet’s legacy.

The project aims to promote Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage and foster values aligned with Abai’s worldview among young people.
