Awarding of Certificates and Prizes in the Section “Fundamental and Applied Mathematics”

On September 25, 2025, within the framework of the 10th International Conference “Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technologies” held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the section on Fundamental and Applied Mathematics was successfully conducted.

The session, held in Room 409, was moderated by Professor M.A. Bektemessov, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, and Professor B.A. Urmashev. It brought together leading scientists and young researchers who presented papers on fundamental and applied mathematical problems, including Laplace equations, fractional derivatives, spectral theory, and integral geometry.

The best presentations were recognized with certificates of merit and special awards for their scientific depth, originality, and relevance. The moderators emphasized the importance of these results for advancing mathematical theory and inspiring further research among young scholars.

The event aimed to enhance the quality of education, foster innovation, and strengthen international academic cooperation — thereby contributing to sustainable scientific and societal development.

This work contributes to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development, primarily towards achieving the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 10 — Reduced Inequalities, SDG 17 — Partnerships for the Goals.
