A Scientific Seminar on India–Kazakhstan Bilateral Relations Was Held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies within the Framework of the Partnership for Sustainable Development
On October 27, 2025, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a scientific seminar titled “Multidimensional Perspectives on the Dynamics of India–Kazakhstan Bilateral Relations” was held within the framework of sustainable development initiatives.
The seminar was conducted by Inderjeet, a PhD candidate at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India). During the event, participants discussed the current political, economic, and cultural cooperation between India and Kazakhstan, as well as prospective areas for future partnership. Faculty members, PhD candidates, and master’s students took part in the seminar, sharing their ideas and engaging in a meaningful academic exchange. Professor L.G. Erekesheva from the Department of Middle East and South Asia at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University reviewed the results of the young scholar’s two-week research work conducted at the university and presented a special certificate to him. The event contributed to fostering mutual understanding and strengthening academic collaboration between India and Kazakhstan.
