SDG 4 “Quality Education”: Mentorship School is A Territory of Growth and Inspiration
On October 31, 2025, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal “Quality Education,” the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature held a Mentorship School, organized by Elena Bronislavovna Chekina, Senior Lecturer of the Department and the driving force behind many educational initiatives.
The aim of the school was to create a space for professional communication where experienced educators and young teachers can exchange ideas, teaching methods, and personal insights. Mentorship here is viewed not merely as the transfer of knowledge, but as a process of mutual growth, the search for new meanings, and the strengthening of professional values.
As Elena Bronislavovna noted, success in teaching is impossible without support and personal example:
“Mentorship is not only about sharing experience, but also about inspiring, helping a young specialist to reveal their potential, and supporting their first steps in the profession.”
Particular attention was given to modern trends in humanities education, issues of academic culture, and the role of the mentor in shaping the educational environment.
The Mentorship School of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature continues its mission — to unite generations of educators, strengthen the continuity of traditions, and open new horizons for professional growth.
