35 KazNU teachers have become iPEER holders
A solemn ceremony of awarding the international title "International Engineering Teacher iPEER (International Professional Engineer Educator)" was held at al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The honorary status was awarded to university teachers who successfully passed the external professional certification of the international organization ENTER within the framework of the Erasmus+ project. Alina Galeeva, Member of the Board and Vice–Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of international certification to improve the quality of engineering education and strengthen the university's position in the global academic space.

The President of the International Organization ENTER, Professor Jose Carlos Cuadrado, noted that the EduFusion NSG project, implemented with the support of the European Union, is aimed at developing a sustainable model of higher education in Kazakhstan. Its main goal is to create a platform for interaction between universities, industry and government institutions, as well as the introduction of modern educational technologies and the training of new generation teachers.

One of the key areas of the project is the TDSS (Teacher Development and Support System) system of professional development and international certification of teachers of engineering disciplines, implemented within the framework of the WP3 work program. According to its results, the teachers' competencies are confirmed by international standards, which allows them to be awarded the iPEER title.

This year, 35 teachers of al-Farabi Kazakh National University received the title of "International Engineering Teacher". The solemn presentation of certificates was conducted by Professor Jose Carlos Cuadrado, who represents the EUR-ACE certification system.
