Lesson within the Framework of the Sustainable Development Goals: Healthy Lifestyle, Self-Development, and Intercultural Communication
On November 5, 2025, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Arailym Nurlankyzy Spanbek, together with the the second-year students majoring in “6B05306 – Physics and Astronomy,” conducted a lesson dedicated to healthy lifestyle, self-development, self-education, and intercultural communication.
The event was organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aimed to foster students’ responsibility for their health, continuous learning, and respect for cultural diversity.
During the lesson, students discussed modern principles of a healthy lifestyle, ways to maintain physical and psychological well-being in the context of academic life, and the importance of self-education in personal and professional growth.
Particular attention was paid to the topics of intercultural communication and understanding cultural differences, which are especially relevant in the era of globalization and international academic cooperation.
Students presented short reports and presentations, exchanging ideas on how self-management and cultural tolerance skills help them adapt successfully to the educational environment and build effective communication.
At the end of the lesson, the lecturer emphasized that self-development, self-education, and cultural dialogue are closely related to students’ personal growth and academic success. Such activities contribute to forming an active life position, broadening horizons, and developing universal competencies that are in demand in modern society.
