On October 30, 2025, an open educational lesson on the Psychology of Communication was held with 3rd—year students of the specialty «6B02304 - Translation studies».
The main purpose of the event was to explain to students the importance of communication in human life, the formation of a culture of proper communication and the development of skills to confidently convey their thoughts.
During the event, students analyzed the main factors influencing communication: listening skills, verbal and non-verbal signals, proper emotion management, open expression of their opinions, conflict resolution.
During the discussion, Dale Carnegie's principles were analyzed, which he recommended using in communicating with people. In particular, the main provisions of his book «How to Win Friends and Influence People» were discussed.
The students discussed and gave examples that these principles are effective in any environment — in an educational institution, at work and in life.
During the event, students took an active part and openly shared their opinions. We came to the conclusion that such open lessons not only explain to students how to improve relationships, but also provide motivation for self-development, confidence and respect for the world around them.
