Dear representatives of the media!

On November 17, 2023, within the framework of the I AMANZHOL KASABEK READINGS, a National theoretical conference "Methodological shortcomings of Kazakh philosophical research" will be held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, public figure, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Kasabek Amanzhol Kasabekovich, World Philosophy Day.

The meeting of philosophers will discuss aspects of the study of Kazakh philosophy in quality education - methodological crafts, multilateral aspects, theoretical types of general philosophical thought.

Philosophy of the modern world philosophy of justice and methodology, traditions and novelty: river features of Kazakh philosophy, personality of the scientist-philosopher Amanzhol Kasabek in the context of spiritual continuity, creative identity and appearance, philosophical reflection of pedagogical innovations and quality education of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Goals of sustainable development.

The collegial meeting will be attended by famous personalities, scientists, students and undergraduates, doctoral students, young scientists, and members of the public.

Within the framework of the I Amanzhol Kasabek readings, events will dedicate to the week of creativity of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Amanzhol Kasabekuly and the Day of Philosophy of the Whole World will be held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from November 6 to 16.

Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, English, Turkish.

A collection of articles by the conference participants will be published based on the conference materials.

PROFESSOR AMANJOL KASABEK

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Honorary academician of the Baltic Pedagogical Academy, Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education, Honorary Professor of the Zhetysu State University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov Amanzhol Kasabek was born on April 5, 1943 in the village of Bostan, Kerbulak district, Almaty region.

From 1964 to 1969 he studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. At that time, he was engaged in student scientific work, defended his thesis on the theory of knowledge in the works of Al-Farabi with honors.

In 1969, he entered the teaching position at the Zhambyl Pedagogical Institute. In 1973, he moved to work in Almaty. In 1977, as a senior lecturer at the Zootechnical and Veterinary Institute, he defended his PhD thesis on the historical and philosophical problem of human activity.

In 1978, on the instructions of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, he was sent to the docent service at the newly opened Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers of Social Sciences. During this work, it was noticed that the level of scientific, pedagogical and methodological knowledge is high. She led methodological groups, taught special courses. Fruitfully engaged in the study of the most pressing problems of philosophy in the research direction. Many scientific articles were published in the publications of the Academy of Sciences and the University. The monograph devoted to social activity and the unity of social cognition was published in 1987 and was highly appreciated by the scientific community. In 1989, he defended his doctoral dissertation with honors on historical, philosophical and methodological problems of social activity. In 1991 he received the academic title of professor. From 1984 to 1991 he worked as the head of the department of the Almaty Institute of Foreign Languages and the Architectural and Construction Institute.

Since 1991 - Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Kazakh State University.Al-Farabi, then director of the Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers-Vice-rector of KazNU. He also organized the Department of History of Kazakh and Foreign Philosophy and was appointed its first head. In these positions, the professor's high organizational skills were manifested. Thanks to his friendly nature, ability to smoothly communicate with people, competence, he brought the faculty staff to a high level of training of students and postgraduates on topical issues of modern philosophy and political science, psychology, sociology.

The broad and in-depth knowledge of the professor makes it possible to conduct equally perfect, qualified, high-quality classes in all different academic disciplines. The head of the postgraduate course also received great importance in the history of Kazakh philosophy at the department. As the author and head of several teaching aids, he also did a lot of work on raising philosophical and methodological problems.

He made great efforts to identify new methodological principles of studying the history of Kazakh philosophy, its origin and main stages of development, as well as philosophical problems of cognition of a new type of thinking and elements.

He held the position of Vice-President of the Union of Philosophers of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the special Council for the defense of PhD theses at the Kazakh National University. He was a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals, editor of the journal "Bulletin of KazGU (Philosophy series). In those years, his activity as a member of the doctoral dissertation Council at KazGU found a new expression and many other moral deeds took place in his public work.

He has taught at universities in the USA, Iran, and South Korea. He has spoken at international scientific conferences at the universities of Kingston, Tulsa, Tehran, Senju, Moscow, St. Petersburg.

From 1995 to 1998, Rector of Taldykorgan University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.

1998-2006 - Head of the Department of Social Sciences of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University.

2006-2007 - Rector of the Zhetysu Institute.

2007-2014 - Professor of the Academy of Economics and Law. Omirbek Zholdasbekov.

Since 2014, he has been working as the director of the Research Center "Philosophy of Science and Local History" of the Zhetysu State University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, from 2017 to the end of his life - a leading researcher at the scientific and educational center "Rukhani Zhangyru" of the Ilyas Zhansugurov ZhSU.

Under the guidance of the scientist, more than thirty candidates of sciences and eight doctors of sciences have been trained in philosophy. Their topics are devoted to the history of philosophy, social philosophy and the theory of knowledge.

More than two hundred scientific and methodological works, including "Social activity and social cognition", "Kazakh philosophy", "History of Philosophy", "Art of Truth", "Eastern Philosophy", "Historical and philosophical cognition", "Philosophy of Science", "Philosophy of Law", "Personal cognition". Author of monographs and textbooks: "A heart that pulls a soul mate", "Human personality", "Modern philosophy of science", "Philosophical features of the development of modern science", etc.

Scientific and teaching and active public work was worthily appreciated, awarded with medals "10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "For merits in the development of science", "20 years of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" and many diplomas. Holder of the titles "Honorary Citizen of Taldykorgan" and "Honorary citizen of Almaty region".
