Educational program

The program is aimed at training a competitive specialist with theoretical knowledge in general and molecular genetics and practical skills in genetic research performance in the field and laboratory conditions.

LO1. Analyze molecular genetic, biochemical, morphophysiological features of the organism;
LO2. Explain the manifestations of heredity and variability at the molecular, cellular and organismic levels;
LO3. Assess the genetic variability of organisms under the influence of various environmental factors;
LO4. Conduct experiments with model organisms and test systems to determine genetic patterns;
LO5. Assess the quality and safety of work when using genetic methods in research and production centers and laboratories for compliance with the rules of GLP and the bioethics principles;
LO6. Apply modern methods of general and molecular genetics in breeding centers to create highly productive, resistant to adverse factors varieties of agricultural crops and animal breeds;
LO7. Apply modern methods of general and molecular genetics in prenatal centers for the diagnosis and prevention of hereditary pathologies and in vitro fertilization laboratories (IVF) to solve the problems of population reproduction;
LO8. Use the methods of molecular genetic expertise in forensic laboratories to identify individuals and determine kinship; GMO control at customs and in sanitary epidemiological laboratories;
LO9. Carry out genetic research in the field and laboratory conditions on modern equipment and using computational tools for genetic monitoring of the environment;
LO10. Analyze scientific and technical information on the subject of research based on the use of information technology;
LO11. Present educational material in oral, written and graphic form;
LO12. Model the future career through professional and personal self-education
