/ Upon completion of this program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to
ON1 To apply the received theoretical knowledge in the field of translation studies to solve practical problems in oral and written translation.
ON2 To identify interdisciplinary connections of translation science with other disciplines and to understand their importance for future professional activity.
ON3 To search, store, and process information when working with bulk material
ON4 To be proficient in all types of speech activity in native and foreign languages
ON5 To use all kinds of dictionaries and information and communication technologies to solve linguistic problems.
ON6 To apply lexical and grammatical transformations and translation techniques in the implementation of written and oral translation of scientific, artistic, socio-political, economic, technical, tourist, official business texts of varying degrees of complexity.
ON7 To search for modern trends and approaches in the field of science and technology for professional and personal development
ON8 To edit and annotate professionally oriented texts of different genres and styles and apply pre-translation text analysis to improve the quality of translated texts
ON9 To carry out oral and written communication in Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages to solve interpersonal and intercultural production tasks.
ON10 To translate information from the original audio or video material into another language using sound, speech, text and images using various technologies and software products.
ON 11 To apply historical, socio-political, regional, environmental and cultural knowledge in the implementation of translation in various fields.
ON 12 To carry out consecutive and simultaneous translations and ensure mutual understanding between representatives of different cultures at conferences, negotiations, business meetings, presentations and other events.
