Цель: to provide teaching highly qualified simultaneous interpreters specializing in international organizations, negotiations, interviews, films for the political, economic, media, scientific and educational industries in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.

Educational program
to provide teaching highly qualified simultaneous interpreters specializing in international organizations, negotiations, interviews, films for the political, economic, media, scientific and educational industries in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.
ON1 Demonstrate proficiency in a professional foreign language during bilateral consecutive interpretation of dialogic speech using translation cursive to ensure adequate transmission of linguistic and cultural markers in intercultural communication.
ON2 Apply conference interpreting techniques and rules for working in pairs in a interpreter’s booth based on the theory and practice of simultaneous interpreting under conditions of prolonged stress and high speed of speakers in intergovernmental organizations.
ON3 Demonstrate good memory, resilience and mental readiness to perform bilateral consecutive interpreting using probabilistic forecasting strategies, rapid language code-switching and note-taking techniques to optimize the interpretation process.
ON4 Apply visual and auditory techniques, waiting and stalling strategies in bilateral simultaneous interpreting of interviews, negotiations, public presentations in intergovernmental organizations and films based on the theory and practice of simultaneous interpreting and interpreter’s ethics.
ON5 Apply the technique of consecutive interpretation and shochotage in international negotiations and interviews during activating the foreign vocabulary of modern business and new media, diplomatic and industry terms according to the rules of the norm of the translating language.
ON6 Integrate research on the theory and practice of simultaneous interpreting in the context of modern concepts of the philosophy of science and pedagogical activities based on higher education didactics using TLA strategies to systematize the scientific and pedagogical worldview of the individual interpreter.
ON7 Apply strategies and tactics for simultaneous interpretation of negotiations and interviews, based on the principles of personality psychology in managerial interactions, personal speech behavior, followed by cultural analysis of international legal, diplomatic, medical, economic, scientific terminologies.
ON8 Apply innovative teaching methods in courses on issues of interlingual conflicts in simultaneous interpretation and dubbing of films, the practice of auditory perception of business information, the language of new media, technologies for the development of a foreign language in the scientific, educational and business environment.
ON9 Generate new ideas and research based on the principles of scientific knowledge, the psychology of managing the process of interpretation activities to improve techniques and strategies for interpretation and simultaneous interpretating for stylization of the original speech using translation transformations for implementation in translation practice.
ON10 Design research on the technology and methodology of simultaneous interpreting based on the psychological theory of self-management of personal behavior and philosophy of science using modern methods of processing scientific results to develop techniques for mastering a foreign language in the scientific, technical, business, media, diplomatic, legal, economic spheres and film industry, memorization skills, stress resistance and analysis speech culture of a simultaneos interpreter.
