The year 2025 is the celebration of the 1155th anniversary of the great thinker of the East Abu Nasr al-Farabi (870-950).
The main achievement of more than half a century of the history of Farabi studies in Kazakhstan is that the legacy of the great medieval encyclopedic thinker has firmly entered the treasury of Kazakhstan's spiritual culture, becoming a national treasure of the country's history and culture.
The ideological mastermind behind the creation of the al-Farabi Center in 1993 and the first head was an outstanding Kazakhstani scientist, whose work on the history of Oriental philosophy and research on al-Farabi's work is widely known all over the world - Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding member of HAH PK Agyn Khairullovich Kasymzhanov.
