Currently, the centre is implementing several research projects and collaborating with German and Chinese scientists, in addition to scientists from the Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS). The centre's staff actively participate in international conferences and various training courses aimed at solving global problems in the fields of ecology, the environment, the development and implementation of AI, and food security. The centre provides training for master's and PhD students from the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, who go on to participate in various scientific research projects. The centre also has a memorandum of understanding with Chinese scientists on the creation and opening of a new laboratory in the field of bioconversion, biotransformation and applied microbiology. This memorandum will be implemented at the end of November this year with the invitation of a Chinese delegation. During its implementation, the memorandum will not only allow the above-mentioned laboratory to be opened, but will also enable joint international projects to be carried out and provide opportunities for exchanges of undergraduate, master's and PhD students.
