About us
The Department carries out its activities in accordance with the Charter of the University and this Regulation. The Department actively searches for highly qualified personnel (including foreign specialists, specialists with work experience abroad, graduates of the Bolashak program). Provides consultations on employment issues and familiarizes candidates with the internal regulations and job descriptions. Forms the staff of the teaching staff according to the qualification requirements, staffing the required professions, specialties and qualifications in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Conducts attestations of university employees, analysis of the results of attestation. Conducts competitions for filling vacant positions of teaching staff and researchers of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University according to the requirements.
The Department consists of the HR Department.
HR management includes the following tasks:
- defines the criteria for the search and selection of personnel;
- participates in improving the level of professional knowledge, skills and abilities of employees of the organization in accordance with the goals and strategy of the organization, personnel policy;
- organizes the certification of employees, its methodological and informational support, participates in the analysis of the results of certification, the development of measures to implement the decisions of the certification commissions, determines the range of specialists subject to re-examination;
- studies the causes of staff turnover, participates in the development of measures to reduce it;
- monitors compliance with social guarantees of employees of the organization;
- keeps records of the personnel of the organization and its divisions in accordance with the unified forms of primary accounting documentation.
- organizes timely reception, transfer and dismissal of employees in accordance with labor legislation, legal regulations and orders, as well as other established personnel documentation;
- formation and maintenance of personal files of employees, making changes in them related to work;
- preparation of necessary materials for qualification, certification, competition commissions;
- filling out, accounting and storage of workbooks;
- calculation of work experience, issuance of certificates on the present and past work activities of employees;
- accounting for the provision of vacations to employees, control over the preparation and observance of vacation schedules;
- preparation of documents after the expiration of the established terms of current storage for storage in the archive.
The positions of dean, deputy dean, head of the department, professor, research professor, associate professor (associate professor), research associate professor, senior lecturer and lecturer specified in the staffing table of the university are accepted on a competitive basis.
