On November 20, 2025, students and master’s students of the Tourism program, together with c.g.s, Associate Professor Moldagaliyeva A. E., and doctoral student Satkali I. K., attended GIS Day 2025 !
The event brought together more than 300 participants representing various fields where geoinformation systems are applied. Participants learned about modern trends and innovations in GIS, as well as how digital solutions help develop regions and different sectors.
The use of GIS in tourism is an important step toward sustainable development, as such technologies make it possible to analyze tourist flows, plan routes, preserve natural areas, and make travel more comfortable and safe.
