Results of the “Farabi GreenCampus: Clean University” Youth Environmental Forum held within the national ecological campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”

The Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management hosted the “Farabi GreenCampus: Clean University” youth environmental forum, organized within the framework of the national ecological campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”. The main goal of the forum was to support environmental initiatives of young researchers and students, promote sustainable development principles, and showcase innovative projects aimed at advancing the university’s green infrastructure.

Based on the results of the forum, the winners were determined as follows:

Grand Prix: Ulan Mukhtarov, 1st-year doctoral student of the educational program “8D05202 – Geography”. 

Project title: EcoMap Campus.

1st Place: Zhaniya Bakhyt, Madina Mukhtar, 3rd-year students of the educational program “6B05203 – Hydrology”.

Project title: KazNU Generates Its Own Energy.

2nd Place: Azhar Kasengaiypova, Aidana Bermanova, 4th-year students of the educational program “6B05202 – Ecology”.

Project title: Green University: Developing Environmental Awareness through Plastic Waste Recycling.

The scientific and applied projects presented during the forum demonstrated innovative solutions aimed at enhancing the university’s environmental culture, strengthening sustainable resource management practices, and advancing the development of the green campus concept.
