Экопроект «Aralap» получил диплом I степени на форуме Farabi Green Campus

On November 25, the startup team of the Department of Botany and Agroecology at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University successfully presented their project at the “Farabi Green Campus: Clean University” eco-forum. Under the guidance of the head of the department, Professor N. Z. Akhtayeva, the team achieved an excellent result, receiving a First-Degree Diploma and a monetary award of 100,000 tenge.

The “Aralap” project focuses on greening the university territory. Its implementation will not only improve the environmental condition of the campus but also help increase the number of pollinators and promote the biodiversity of wild plant species.

The project was developed by the department’s young and talented researchers — Islam Galymzhanov, Symbat Zhanbasbayeva, and Ruslan Nurkhanov. Their initiative represents a valuable contribution to enhancing the university’s ecological culture and fostering sustainable infrastructure.
