As part of this initiative, the instructor and students visited School No. 181 in Almaty, where they conducted a meeting with 10th–11th grade students.
During the meeting, an informational and awareness-raising lecture was delivered on the prevention of harmful addictions such as drug abuse, smoking, alcohol dependency, and gambling addiction. The lecture highlighted and explained in detail the:
-
psychological,
-
social,
-
health-related,
-
and legal consequences
of harmful habits, as well as the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, developing responsible behavior, and making informed decisions.
The school students showed strong engagement, asked questions, and expressed their views. An open dialogue format fostered active discussion and demonstrated the genuine interest and involvement of the youth.

Such preventive activities contribute to shaping conscious decision-making among teenagers, help them avoid harmful behaviors, and promote the development of a healthy and responsible society. Moreover, these initiatives increase university students’ social engagement and encourage their participation in community-oriented projects.
The main goal of the “Farabi Strong: Independent Future” project is to nurture a culture of health, safe behavior skills, and a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.
