SDG17 "Partnership for sustainable development" Events for local farmers and specialists in the field of agrobiotechnology

The Department of Biotechnology hosted a number of events within the framework of the SDG 17 "Partnership for sustainable development" for local farmers and specialists in the field of agrobiotechnology.

As part of the development of cooperation between scientific organizations and the agricultural sector, extended laboratory tours were conducted for farmers and specialists working in the field of agrobiotechnology and related fields. The events were aimed at popularizing scientific knowledge, demonstrating the capabilities of a modern laboratory base and strengthening the links between science and production.

The participants got a detailed understanding of the structure of laboratories, the high-tech equipment used and research methods in the field of agrobiotechnology, plant biotechnology, quality and safety of agricultural products. During the guided tours, current scientific projects, innovative developments and practical solutions focused on increasing crop productivity, plant resistance to adverse environmental factors, as well as reducing anthropogenic stress and preserving soil fertility were presented.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of introducing the results of scientific research into real agricultural production, issues of technology transfer and prospects for cooperation between scientists and farmers. The tours have become a platform for lively dialogue, exchange of experience and discussion of topical issues of the industry, contributing to the improvement of professional competence of participants and the formation of sustained interest in innovative approaches in modern agriculture.
