“Let the Echo Spread Across the World”
On November 5, 2025, a literary and poetic evening on the topic: “Let the Echo Spread Across the World” was held at the cinema hall of the Keremet Student Service Center with the participation of students of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The educational event was organized by curator-advisor Pazylbek Bissenbayev.
The main objective of the event was to increase students’ interest in literature and poetry, promote spiritual and moral values through artistic expression, foster respect for national culture, and develop creative thinking. The literary and poetic evening aimed to cultivate students’ aesthetic taste and enrich their inner spiritual world.
Educational activities carried out at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are focused on nurturing a harmoniously developed individual who combines professional knowledge with a high level of spiritual development, national values, cultural awareness, and intellectual potential. In line with this objective, a variety of cultural and educational events are systematically organized at the university. The literary and poetic evening “Let the Echo Spread Across the World” served as a meaningful continuation of this educational work.
During the event, students recited poems from works by prominent representatives of Kazakh literature and shared their reflections and creative perspectives through artistic expression. The literary evening contributed to increased creative engagement among students and supported the development of stage culture, speech expressiveness, and aesthetic perception. In addition, participants discussed the role of poetry in human life and the significance of literature in personality formation, engaging in active exchanges of views.
Educational activities aimed at promoting national spirit and spiritual values contribute to fostering a sense of Kazakhstani patriotism, national pride, and respect for cultural and literary heritage among students. The literary and poetic evening enabled meaningful organization of students’ leisure time, had a positive impact on their spiritual development, and helped to unlock their creative potential.
During the event, young poets read their original poems, while talented students delighted the audience with musical performances, songs, and traditional kyui. At the conclusion of the evening, young participants were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.
In conclusion, the educational hour conducted in the format of the literary and poetic evening “Let the Echo Spread Across the World” successfully achieved its objectives and was assessed as a significant educational event that had a positive impact on the spiritual and cultural development of students.
