“My Profession – Forensic Specialist” within the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education”

On December 25, 2025, within the framework of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal №4 “Quality Education”, officers of the Operational and Forensic Management of the Almaty City Police Department, together with lecturers of the Faculty of Law, Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University — B.A. Shopabayev, N.S. Temirbolat and Daubasov S.Sh. took part in an educational and practical event held at the Almaty City Police Department, on the basis of the Operational and Forensic Management.

The purpose of the event was to improve the quality of the educational process through practice-oriented learning, as well as to familiarize participants with the activities of police units and modern methods of operational and forensic support.

During the event, officers of the Operational and Forensic Management demonstrated the capabilities of forensic equipment, explained the procedures for conducting forensic examinations and crime scene inspections, and discussed the use of innovative and digital technologies in the detection and investigation of crimes.

The participants had the opportunity to communicate directly with practicing specialists, ask questions of interest, and become acquainted with real cases from professional practice. Such events contribute to the development of professional competencies, analytical thinking, and increased motivation to obtain quality education.

The event held at the Almaty City Police Department became an important step in strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies in the context of achieving Sustainable Development Goal №4.
